《空海》劇情簡介
《空海》是導演佐藤純彌於1984年拍攝完成的電影，描述了日本平安時期遣唐學者弘法大師的故事，這部影片是為了紀念這位在日本文化史上留下過重要足跡的高僧坐化一千一百五十周年而攝的。年輕時代的空海為了求取真經,學習藝術真諦,曾不避風險,遠涉重洋,來到中國,學習密教和書法,回國後創立真言宗密教,並豐富了日本的藝術內容。影片斥資達12億日元，並在中國政府的支持下來到中國取景，是當時少見的超大製作；《空海》上映後，日本全國票房收入超過30億日元，位列1984年票房排行榜第七位，獲得極大成功。
